Our UVASORB LX is a proprietary blend of UV-Filters for superior color and odor protection of fine fragrances and highly photo-unstable dyes like D&C Red 27. When used as part of a leave-in conditioner it may also prevent hair dyes from fading.

Our sunscreens protect skin from the harmful effects of sunlight radiation and allow Sunscreen Protection Factor claims. Oxybenzone and Sulisobenzone are approved by the USFDA. Pending approval, through the FDA’s TEA process, are Ethylhexyl Triazone and 3V’s patented Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone (a.k.a. Iscotrizinol). Both used safely and effectively around the world for many years. Iscotrizinol is a superior active providing both UVB and UVA photoprotection of skin with proven synergies with many sunscreen actives. Due to its excellent solubility in awide range of cosmetic oils only low levels are needed to incorporate enough active ingredient to reach the high SPFs demanded by today’s sunscreen market. This translates to less greasy-feeling emulsions and, because it doesn’t crystallize on aging, it will not clog aerosol valves or feel gritty to thetouch. Isorizinol’s high specific extinction coefficient (1470 min at 311nm in EtOH) does not shift when formulated; another distinct advantage.
